The weekend of July 24 and 25th were busy ones with events in Langley and in Victoria for our 14+ athletes. At Centennial Stadium in Victoria, BC, the Prairie Inn Harriers hosted the 2021 BC Endurance Group Challenge.
A few Vancouver Olympic Athletes ventured on our local BC Ferries to compete on Vancouver Island in the 800m and 1200m.
Fourteen (14) year old Cole Timko had a great race finishing 5th in 1200m with the time of 3:27.06 a PR of 4 sec. and 7th in 800m with 2:08.10 a PR of 2.87 sec.
In the Women’s category, Stephanie Sinclair had a PR in 800m with the time of 2:23.90 and Tilda Cressman, a PR with the time of 2:25.42 finishing respectively 6 and 8th places.
At the end of the pandemic season, we are so very proud to see the great achievements of our athletes and the development of the new generation of VOC athletes.
