VOC Athletes Run Well at BC Provincial High School Cross Country Championships

On Saturday, November 2, 2019, seven VOC distance athletes competed in the BC High School Cross Country Championships at Clearbrook Park in Abbotsford, BC.

Top results came from Kendra Lewis, who had a solid 5km run in the Senior Girls category, finished second with the time of 18:01. Tilda Cressman ran well for this category and finished 37 with the time of 20:17.

For the Boy’s Seniors 5km category, the top athlete was Dylan Uhrich who finished 7th with the time of 16:16.

Riordan Miya, finished 17th with the time of 16:53, followed by Christian Petersen and Paul Paetzel finishing 30th and 53rd with respective time of 17:09 and 17:39.

In the Junior category, Stephanie Sinclair had a solid run finishing 30th with the time of 15:46 and for the junior boys, Liam Dachner finished 71st with the time of 14:42.
