VOC Athletes Competed at the BC Cross Country Championships in Victoria, BC

On Saturday, October 26, 2019, five VOC athletes competed at the BC Cross Country (XC) Championships at Beaver Lake on Vancouver Island.

For the Youth category (MU-18), Dylan Uhrich lead from the start to the last 500m and with a strong finish, he won silver with a second place time of 16:00.00

Riordan Miya, ran a strong race and achieved a PR with 16:34.00 finishing in 10th place.

For midget girl category (F-U16), Stephanie Sinclair and Tilda Cressman, ran very well and finished respectively in 8th and 13th with the times of 11:23.00 and 11:41.00.

Kendra Lewis was under the weather and dropped the race after 1500m.

Two other VOC athletes, Davis Timko and Liam Dachner, competed and ran well with their school (WPGA) at Mt.Sac XC Invitational, in USA with the times of 18:11.00 and 19:02.00

All VOC athletes are ready to compete to achieve good results at the BC High School XC Championships this Saturday, November 2, in Abbotsford, BC
