Vancouver Olympic Club’s, Jasper Schiedel, is completing DAY 2 of the Decathlon at the IAAF 2015 World Youth Championships in Cali, Columbia.
Jasper set the Canadian record this year in Canada’ s inaugural year of youth decathlon with 6526 pts. Cali is 1000+m elevation, 3 degrees north of the equator.
After Day 1 he is fighting his way up with Decathlon PBs in LJ, 400m and DT. At this time he has 2 events left, Javelin at 3:00PM and the 1500m at 6:20 (Vancouver time). He is currently tied for 20th place with the Danish competitor – so cheers him on to pass the Dane and catch the Swede.
